Alan Dunn’s journey into the event planning world began with this appreciation of cuisine. Alan’s extensive travels in Asia and Europe gave him an understanding of exotic flavors and dining customs. When he returned from abroad, he began an event planning and catering company in New York City called Fraiche Events.
Event planning eventually brought Alan to the West Coast when he became Special Events/Food and Beverage Director of the Chateau Marmont Hotel, planning events for the Hollywood elite. Alan eventually left the chateau to start his Los Angeles based event planning company, Tre’s LA.
Alan can soon be seen as co-host of Wedding Day, A Mark Burnett Production, slated to air in June 2009 on TNT. Wedding Day is a reality/drama show about making wedding dreams come true. Alan previously appeared as a wedding planner on TLC’s hit Show For Better or For Worse where he made extraordinary wedding happen on a shoestring budget. Alan has also been a regular contributor to television shows and magazines offering innovative event tips and creative cuisine ideas.
Events that Alan has coordinated have appeared in In Style, Us Weekly and People magazines. Alan’s gift of designing truly memorable events has made him one of the most sought after event planners for some of Hollywood’s most discriminating clients.
